The Inception

...and thus the blog was started.

When we started remodeling our house on Vine Street, we knew it would be a lot of work. Well, by now we have already put in a lot of effort, yet the end still seems in a distant future. We do realize that we are not choosing the easiest path, as when we opted to spackle the master bedroom walls, then spackle again after priming revealed pits and divots. The hope is that improving the quality of the walls and the ceilings will have a longer lasting effect than just repainting. We hope that by spending extra time on repairs this year will minimize the need for a major overhaul for a long while.
